The former Long Mountain School House, built in 1925, is the current facility for the Eagle Point Museum. This museum is the second largest museum in Jackson County. The collection displayed and preserved depicts a rich history of the Eagle Point area, the railroad and early pioneer families of this region. Exhibits include Grandmother's kitchen equipped with stove, cast iron pots, wash boards, sad

irons, spinning wheel and butter churns. Another exhibit covers local railroad artifacts, souvenirs and a railroad library. The local logging industry pictures are another treat.
